On
Wednesday 29th June 2011 the
Co-Financing Organisations hosted a Celebration and Planning
event at the Sofitel Hotel, Gatwick.
The aim of
the day was two-fold, celebrating the achievements of ESF
projects in the period 2008-2010, and looking ahead to adult and
employer provision for the 2011-2013 funding period.
The morning
included presentations on the current situation and the future
of ESF provision. In addition to this, there was the opportunity
to learn more about the achievements to date in the South East.
The
afternoon focused on the 2011-13 element of the current
programme and explored how providers can work in partnership to
deliver a coherent package of support for unemployed adults and
employers.
The day was a
great success, with incredibly positive feedback from all
attending delegates. The evaluation forms included a
ratings section for several areas of the event including
presentations, breakout groups, venue and refreshments. Some of
the results from the evaluation forms are shown below.

progress into jobs they feel proud of.

Rupert Day from SERCO was joined by Nicole Willson from the Kent
Probation Trust and Tony Giles from NACRO to showcase the work that
SERCO does and some learner case studies too.
