Emelye completed an Employability course with East Kent ITeC Ltd after being made redundant from the Churchill Tavern in late February 2009. She felt that she needed to build on her skills and required support with job applications, CV creation and interview techniques.

During the course Emelye felt her confidence grow dramatically and she started applying for jobs. Her new found skills with interview techniques and her confidence boost saw Emelye successfully secure employment at CCI Chemicals as a Customer Sales Advisor. 

Emelye says she would like to thank East Kent ITeC for the help and support she received as it really gave her the skills she required to succeed in securing employment. She commenced her Literacy Level 2 course via Train to Gain in September 2009.
