Kevin had spent years working at the same electrical wholesale company, working his way up to his position as Manger of their Folkestone branch, when he was made redundant. He was responsible for key accounts, budget control, purchasing, personnel and general management of the branch.

Kevin attended a two day Attaining Employment course where he was able to develop his job-search and his IT skills.  Following on from this course he undertook a further course at East Kent ITeC – CLAIT Level 1.

The skills he developed on this course helped Kevin to secure full time employment with another electrical wholesale Company. Kevin says he thoroughly enjoyed the course, and was very pleased with the increase in his job-search and IT skills.

Kevin commenced on an Adult Literacy course in January 2010, on which he will be continuing to learn with East Kent ITeC.
