Verity joined the ESF project run by Ability Professional Training as one of the mandatory training requirements of the CRC to become qualified to work in the care sector. She required an IAG to discover her underpinning knowledge requirements.

The biggest barrier to Verity was finding the time for her studies, working around her family and other her other responsibilities. 

Verity has achieved her NVQ level 2, completing her work on time, and having completed all mandatory training. The quality of her work has improved over time.

The knowledge she has gained from the course has helped better her understanding of the people she might come across in the community around her.

Verity hopes to continue with further training to benefit her ability to do her job to the highest standards possible, and ensure she complies with all CRC requirements.
